BMA Clients

BMA's extensive client base includes local, regional, national and international clients in the fields of healthcare, manufacturing, utilities, education, high tech, finance, service and government as well as many nonprofit agencies. Our partners are experienced and knowledgeable in these fields and recognize that each organization, while having challenges specific to its industry, also share common interests and issues that are universal to today’s marketplace realities.

We are fortunate that we are entering into our 8th and 9th years of a successful, working partnership with many of clients and are pleased to welcome our many new associations as well.

"I was actually trained by Bruce Mast in '95 or '96. Bruce was one of the most motivating people I had ever met in my life. I never realized how comfortable I let myself become and afraid of change when I left (my former company). Since meeting Bruce, I've never looked back, except to reminisce about my successes. I think I have learned to embrace change and actually welcome it … like the beginning of a soccer match where you're just a bit anxious but feel confident and ready to take on a new challenge."

"Good Morning Sheila, I wanted to let you know that today I accepted a position that will allow me to use my customer service and administrative skills for a company located in Bedford. The decision to accept this job made me think of you. You have been such an amazing part of my journey and I don't have all the words to tell you how much I appreciate all you have done to help me see my potential. I do want you to know that I feel you are a wonderful person who went above and beyond my Leadership On The Line instructor. I am very lucky to have met you and wish you and Bruce loads success in your business."

"Sheila - I received a tremendous benefit from participating in this entire experience. It has been not only been an 'eye opening' but also an excellent method of 'mind-maintenance'. I've come a long way from the first meeting I had with you as we first discussed Leadership On The Line. I truly appreciate all of the efforts you put into this program."

"The AAMT Board of Directors enlisted the services of Bruce Mast & Associates, Inc. for the sole purpose of conducting an Executive Search. In the process, we were led through an 'exercise in vision' whereby we defined our purpose and reset our business model. Our experience was phenomenal and we are very pleased with the outcome of the search; the employment of an extremely qualified and dynamic Executive Director. We would not hesitate to utilize the services of this most professional and competent group of experts should the need arise in the future. They were a Godsend and I'll be forever grateful for having had the opportunity to work with them."

Amy Buckmaster, CMT, FAAMT
Immediate Past President, AAMT

"Tuesday’s morning sessions were the best of the conference. Bruce Mast talked about ‘Becoming Indispensable in the Finance Function.’ Although I know myself very well, Bruce’s talk gave me some new insight about myself. Thank you, Bruce."

"I have been extremely fortunate personally and professionally throughout several years to have had the pleasure of knowing and the privilege of working with Bruce Mast & Associates. The entire group is highly professional and well balanced in their educational offerings and exchange of ideas for any size business.

Bruce, himself, leads with such a highly energized and charismatic style he captures your mind immediately as he lays out his vast knowledge for one to sponge up. His teaching of the New Economy offers mind bending experiences that catapult your management capabilities into new thoughts and ways of running your business to optimize value by maximizing performance."

— Herb Novell, Director of Operations
Henkel Corporation

"Sheila … Just a note to thank you and bring you up to date. First, thanks to your great work in the outplacement seminars all but a very few of the former Shafmaster employees have found a new home.

"Your early pearls of wisdom to me personally did not fall on deaf ears. Thanks to your good work, my resume is getting attention.

"This note of thanks is long overdue, but I think more insightful because of the wait. Thanks again for all of the ways you have been helpful to all of us and especially to me."

Chris Marshall

"I wanted to let you and everyone else at BMA know how helpful your services have been to Seacoast Hospice. I think we have sampled just about all of your offerings including leadership training, employee alignment and candidate search - candidates actually thanked us for allowing them to apply! Our goals were clear: develop a more sophisticated leadership team to respond to the needs of a growing and increasingly complex organization. We are well on our way and have the wonderful staff at BMA to thank."

— Susan Cole, Executive Director
Seacoast Hospice

"The concrete experience that I am going to talk about is the Bruce Mast Tsunami of Leadership presentation. Blam! Here is what it is; take it or leave it, but you are going to listen and within two minutes, you are so engaged that a bomb could go off, and you probably would not know it, or care to acknowledge it. You know when a child is so engrossed in a TV program that it is nearly impossible to get their attention? That is the level of concentration that I believe I had. Seriously, two hours went by like a bullet. My brain was taking everything in like the sand sucking up water at the beach. Just when you think your feeble mind cannot possibly handle anymore for fear of cranium explosion, he breaks out the brain compactor and jams more information in. Moreover, you do not mind it either!

Obviously, Bruce clearly understands what leadership should not be, knows how to deliver it, what is wrong with the current versions of leadership, and yes, he is a profound storyteller. The ability to tell the story of leadership and all that it encompasses is clearly a gift that cannot be taught easily. If I ever achieve one tenth of the level of story telling ability that Bruce has, I will be happy. But just telling the story wasn’t all of it. He gave you information and then validated it with data that was clear, concise and credible."

— Peter M. Frost

"WELL, we certainly got off to a good start. You do a masterful job of conducting a meeting, Sheila. When I say ‘conducting,’ I am thinking Seiji Ozawa!"

— Chris Brown, President, Conproco

"Bruce Mast walked into the classroom, was introduced and then proceeded to present his information in a 2-hour condensed leadership enlightening exercise. There was no elongated introduction session; no informational gaps, pauses or silences, and he never deviated from the subject. With the exception of possibly two quick pauses to catch his breath and allow the class to catch up, the entire session was a non-stop flow of ideas and informational highlights centered on leadership.

In essence, Mr. Mast was there solely to lecture on leadership, and his focus on the topic encouraged the class and me to give him our undivided attention. This was partly due to his command of the subject, but mostly because we didn’t want to miss anything. The entire group was even more motivated to become quality leaders two days after the lecture, once they had more time to intellectually digest his thoughts.

It would be nearly impossible to read off the list of benefits that I received from this experience. He showed us the path to our goals."

— Charles Enman

“Bruce – An absolutely outstanding presentation at our Fall Conference. I am still obtaining feedback on how informative your program was. Thanks for helping to make it a successful event!”

— John Dumais, President and CEO
NH Grocers Association

"Bruce is intense, brilliant, tiring, tough and stimulating. If you have the courage for exacting reflection, nobody’s better."

— Jud Knox, CEO
